The Community Recovery Specialist (CRS) will provide support to Participant’s in the intensive outpatient and outpatient programs. They will provide 1:1 peer counseling during treatment and aftercare support for one year following completion of the program. The recovery specialist is responsible (along with other team members) for establishing a therapeutic milieu that promotes the engagement of the Participant’s in the treatment process. The specialist is responsible for observing Participants behavior and documenting observations.
Certificate for Certified Peer/Recovery Specialist or 12 college credits in Behavioral Health / Human Services required.
Valid Drivers License and clean driving record. Prior experience with drug and alcohol, mental health and/or homeless population.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.
