The Community Recovery Specialist (CRS) will provide support to Participant’s in the intensive outpatient and outpatient programs. They will provide 1:1 peer counseling during treatment and aftercare support for one year following completion of the program. The recovery specialist is responsible (along with other team members) for establishing a therapeutic milieu that promotes the engagement of the Participant’s in the treatment process. The specialist is responsible for observing Participants behavior and documenting observations.
Certificate for Certified Peer or Recovery Specialist Required.12 college credits in Behavioral Health / Human Services preferred. Valid Drivers License and clean driving record. Prior experience with drug and alcohol, mental health and/or homeless population.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.
